At the beginning of 2024, there began to be many rumors that Samsung will re-release their Foldable phone series this year. But interestingly this time it does not come with the Flagship series but Midrange, where the Galaxy Z Fold6 will be released at a more economical price version.
After the success of the release of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, now they will again release the latest improvements through other Flagship series with the Galazy Z Fold6 which is rumored to be released this year according to their schedule. For those of you who have long been eyeing the Foldable Phone series from Samsung, the happy news is that they released it with a much more economical version.
But this time we will discuss the Fold6 series which of course is still entering the Flagship market, rumor has it that Samsung will provide an increase in terms of cameras because it uses a super large sensor that is 200MP. This sensor is not the first time used by Samsung, because indeed Samsung used the same sensor in their Galaxy S23 Ultra in 2023.
When compared to the previous series, it is certainly much different, in the Galaxy Z Fold5 itself Samsung even only presents sensors up to 50MP only. Of course, this is an improvement in terms of the camera specifications they present.
For the processor itself we do not get accurate information, some say that Samsung uses a processor from Qualcomm but in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 series. What about Exynos? Although Samsung released the Exynos 2200 SoC which allegedly has capabilities equivalent to the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, but we are not sure if they will use it in the Galaxy Z Fold6.
"We'll see the same 200 MP ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor found on the S24 Ultra inside the upcoming Fold6. Recent Z Fold6 rumors suggest wider aspect ratio for the cover screen alongside reduced weight and less prominent display crease. Samsung is also rumored to be working a more affordable Galaxy Z Fold variant which will launch this year."
